The Shark Steam Mop Carpet Glider - It Really Works

Cleaning with steam has become very popular, but until recently it wasn’t feasible for a typical homeowner to freshen their carpets with steam. The Shark Steam Mop Carpet Glider has changed that! The average person can now easily revive the carpets in their homes whenever they like, and keep them fresh and odor-free.

I’ve cleaned my own carpets for several years now, and I really appreciate the results. But as a self-confessed germ-phobe, I was concerned about bacteria build-up between cleanings. I know that some bacteria can live quite a long time in carpets, some more than a month. Typically found in many homes are salmonella, e-coli, and Norovirus. Common household molds, mildew, and yeast can also live in carpets. Add to this the “goodies” that are tracked in from outside on everyone’s new york yankees t shirt , and it makes for quite a smelly mix! So, what is the most effective way to handle all these potential odor-causing hazards?

The Answer is Steam

Since purchasing the Shark Steam Pocket Mop, I could not be happier. Not only are my floors practically hygienic, but the area rugs are also revitalized between cleanings. The carpet glider makes that happen. It consists of a frame that fits around the mop head, which enables the mop to glide smoothly over the carpet, steaming away. It deoderizes while lifting surface dirt. It is so simple, yet so amazing. I find that regular vacuuming combined with occasional steaming with the carpet glider helps me go a bit longer between major carpet cleanings. As I’ve said, I appreciate the results of my carpet cleaning efforts, but it is a rather big chore. Anything that helps me pull out the “big machine” less frequently earns kudos in my book!

Keeping a clean home is important to me. But more importantly, I know that by cleaning my carpets and floors with steam, I am adding one more line of defence against some common germs that could potentially make my family sick.
